We were asked to find or create a video, series or images, animation, etc. that brings forth the uneasy feeling of the liminal or uncanny valley and write a personal narrative, reaction, or a fictional story that encompasses those feelings. I decided to show Chernobyl as a liminal space and used the story of Valery Bobkov who was one of the Chernobyl's liquidators and the artist who created a series of paintings based on Chernobyl and also met with Pope John Paul II in Vatican.
