I made this video using Cinema 4D and Premiere. It shows my version of the post-apocalyptic world when humanity would be forced to live underground. Only upper-class would afford to live on the upper levels, so basically, disaster wouldn't change humanity in my opinion. We would stay the same, but the environment would be completely different. I composed the text that adds context and generated a voiceover adds a final surreal touch.
Initially, my friend told me that there's a prediction that part of the US will be submerged underwater in next hundred years, so I wanted to play with that notion. I started from my desire to practice with Cinema 4D, and I wanted to use water animation and Help graffiti. So I guess the rest of the project emerged from that. Somehow the work turned into the trailer to our possible future or just a movie. I guess I didn't expect it to be so real at the start, but I love the outcome. The rendering took 24 hours, and I definitely didn't expect that, and I had several problems with animation and lighting. YouTube tutorials were a great source of information on the issues I had! Other than that the final result is as pleasingly weird as I wanted it to be.
